Penn State Berks forward has been selected to play in the ACHA D-1 2nd Annual All-Star Game
Shane Allen has been selected to participate in the 2009 ACHA All-Star Game held at Alice Noble Arena in Wooster, OH.
"Shane has been an explosive player these past two years in the NECHL and its great to see that the ACHA recognizes his talent", commented Commissioner Andy Gojdycz.
Allen, who has 36 points in 29 games, has been a sparkplug for PS Berks this season. "In every key moment of any important game for Penn State (Berks) you will see #8 out on the ice.That speaks a ton for this players' skill and hockey-sense", replied Gojdycz.
Good luck to Shane and the Berks' squad as they represent the NECHL at the ACHA D-1 Nationals later this month!
